durbsguy
Evening I am having problem with my scope mounts coming loose after about every 20 shots or so, no matter how much I tighten them before hand. This is only happening on my HW97 and not the HW80 that it was on before. Would you guys recommend using loctite or the sorts? Secondly could this be a result of the gun shooting excessively rough? And if so I realise Dave Hall no longer tunes the guns but is there anyone else who could recommend.

jacksdad
Have you used Loctite/ any threadlocking stuff on the screws? One trick is to apply a little engine valve grinding paste on the clamps, bit crude but gives enough abrasive to get things gripping well
