simjakcal Posted September 23, 2011 Report Share Posted September 23, 2011 i did a load of coarse there beginig of the yr,chainsaw,spraying,hedge laying,dry stone walling etc,took redundancy from raf st athan end of last year as a aircraft fitter,and had a load of cash for re-training so stuck it into there,really enjoyd it..im sure it will be all worth it tho and this last yr of urs will flyby,best of luck with it all.... yes their prices have just gone up ! £24 now for 100 birds-members ! was up there last night with a friend off here,,sign of the times unfortunatly as with everything going up eh ! there are a few local shoots on the weekends around here tho,yet never been...these darker nights will put a stop to my thursday evening shoot now ! thats good your getting some land to shoot on,crosshands aint that far down the m4.. simjakcal Posted September 23, 2011 Report Share Posted September 23, 2011 lol grim ! mind we did get a smile outa him once or twice ! or was it once ! lol,,,hes a lad with the ladies,,right charmer !!!... yeh chris the porn star did both my cs30/31/32 assesments lol,,, anthony for dry stone walling up blackmill,,that was in the midle of now where,,it lashed down big time for the 2 days we were up there,,and also ant for my pole powerd prunner course,,helen davis lives a couple of doors away from me lol.... had a good time down at the collage,there was a few of us from down st athan doing courses..shame it was winter time tho un bloody freezing un wet ! me un one of the other lads cut all them big popular trees down along side the glass potting shed for our large tree course,that was an experience as we had to winch them so they didnt lay backwards !!!! you going to do ur cs32 ? englishman-in-wales Posted September 24, 2011 Author Report Share Posted September 24, 2011 Yeah he's bit of a ladies man is ellis....anthony was one of my lecturers last year, another top guy....yeah i know the poplars you are talking about, was in college the day they came down, it's bloody freezing up blackmill, did walling and chainsaw assesement up there, we got up there for walling assesment had to be cancelled cos we couldnt find any stone in the snow!!...chainsaw training with si, absolutely ****** down all week....its a small world aint it...
