Spaniel
sorry some pics are a little blurred but the mrs took these. We went down to Abbotsbury yesterday to have ago at a bit of fishing, didnt even get a bite. But around the 6pm ish, heard that familiar sound of Geese, looked along the beach and there they were..mostly all Canadas but there were also some Greylags. We even spotted one swan with the Canadas... Lovely site to see, and to be honest almost all of them came over me, well within range, now why dont i get that when i have the gun in my hand Where do the Dorset Wildfowlers shoot? Frenchieboy
The sort of thing that dreams are made of mate! Why is it you have never got a gun when you want one? It's as if the litle bu**ers know!
Spaniel
HI i did see the odd mackeral come out but to be honest they were to small to keep, although you guess it people were.... I just stayed fishing the bottom, 2 rods one a 2 hooker with rag worm the other rod, pulley rig with soft crab and whole squid, smelt lovely but nothing.. I even got the spinning rod out as it got darker and me and the daughter had ago on this, hoping something may of moved in close but nothing. Any way Mrs aint happy I have crab and squid in the freezer and rag worms in the fridge Was going down Berrow today but i think there will be to many swimmers, just might have to get out in the week before the worms die or escape Frenchieboy, every goose which came over my head was all well within range, they deff know when they are safe
adam f
There is a wildfowling club that shoots The Fleet - but info is scare, hardly anything on the web, I think it's an invite only type thing with a big waiting list - shame as it's a gorgeous place and about 40 mins from home for me! Nice photos.
