Frenchieboy
I have to agree with you mate about getting so much pleasure out of shooting a rimfire! While I really love using my .243 for fox and deer my biggest pleasure is taking long range rabbirs (Out to 180 yards, sometimes even more) with my trusty 17HMR. I have now aquired a Browning .22LR Pump Action Rifle specially for lamping rabbits with and I can see me getting even more pleasure form using rimfires now! I've just fitted a moderator on it and re-zeroed it only to find that the bullet hitting the wooden target backing board makes more noise than the rifle shot itself so I can't wait to get out with the lamp now! Watch out bunnies, here I come!
