Beardo
Plenty more food to be had out and about - today's ingredient is Dandelion leaves (they're great in salads). This recipe is fantastic, a friend gave it to me a while ago - i also add cooked smoked Pancetta (substitute for cooked chopped bacon). I tend to make it with Gruyère not Provolone as it's one of my favourite cheeses. You can substitute the Dandelion with Spinach if you're not feeling adventurous. Paul T
i've not - what's it like? Hard work removing all the green from the flower heads . In my wisdom I decided if I was going to make 1 gallon I may as well do 4 When it was ready (6 months, I think) it was almost indistinguishable from a cheap German Hock Now I stick to berries and fruits
