ferreter10
Basically am hoping to convert my benelli to a 4+1? or 5+1? is it easy to do, or will I need a gunsmith/dealer to do it. Or can I do or myself and then put this on my FAC. Any clarification would be much appreciated Ferreter

Peathag
Hi - You can actually buy a tool that will uncrimp the mag tube whether you have to take it off to do it I am not sure. You can find the info on the net, I think saw the tool on Midway USA or one of those other big yank gun websites.

SneakyD
Here's a video of de-crimping an 870 not sure it would work on a Benelli but worth a watch.
ferreter10
Thanks peathag. Intresting to watch the video, and there are the same sort of crimpings in the benelli.

Peathag
No worries matey, I have looked all over for a benelli tool! Does it just have to be any make of uncrimping tool? You got PM - I would have thought that the tool would do either makes as the mag tubes on all 12g semi-auto's must be near as dammit the same ID. Can access for the tool be gained from the barrel end so that you dont have to take the tube off I don't know because the tube won't come off in a hurry from the reciever on any auto that I have owned - let me know how you get on.
