tom_0787
The chokes I have always had in my browning 525 are as follows- Bottom Barrel- 3 notches. Choke reads MOD-LEAD-FULL-STEEL Top Barrel- 4 notches. Choke reads IMP CYL-LEAD-MOD-STEEL I always thought they were quarter and half. Is that the case?? timps
It's a Modified choke with lead shot or a Full choke with steel shot. The other choke is improved cylinder with lead or a modified with steel. Modified equivalent to 1/2 IC equivalent to 1/4 There can be slight differences due to one being an American size and one being A UK but they are near as the same. edit to add : cookoff013 beat me to it Edited October 19, 2011 by timps
