adam f
Another cracking day today. Invited a mate Stuart over for a morning's rough shooting to repay him for a day on his syndicate later in the year. He bought his cracking springer Delta over, so I was hoping for a good day! A long walk, we were out for 4 hours non-stop but Delta worked flat out and put up around 40 birds, most of them werent shootable with just 2 guns covering or then flushed off the permission, but about a dozen presented shots and we ended the day with 6 pheasent and a rabbit. We missed a few as well... Ive been considering a 20 gauge as a lighter gun for walked up shooting and Stu leant me his Beretta 686 Special today - well I struggled to give it back to him! Loved it and only missed one shot all day! Cracking Autumn colours again and just a joy to be out! Back to mine for bacon and egg rolls and coffee. A perfect day! Picture was taken half way through so birds that were shot on way back are missing...
