Gnome of the Woods
Undo the filler cap, undo the bolts on the "8" clamp. It should now pop back into position or as near as damn it. Do up the "8" clamp carefully and replace the filler cap being carefull not to over tighten.
-ben-
yh ive done that and the barrels touching the barrel band on the bottom i have also tried shooting it with out the barrel band on to see where it is hitting without noting obstructing the barrel and it was hitting to the right by about 4 inches at 30 yards so not sure what to do i have managed to use the gun when the barrel band has been clamped up holding the barrel straight and shot 9 pigeons decoyed in and two rabbits that day so its rather annoying as ile go back to the gun and it will be out of zero
jacksdad
Have you slackened off the scope clamps then retightened them? You have most likely knocked the scope out, so do the above then re-zero it. If the barrel has moved, you will get 'crossover', where the point of impact moves from left to right/vice versa as you move from say 5 metres outwards. Once set, the left/right POI shouldn't alter (in still air) no matter what range you shoot, showing that the barrel and scope are dead in line. -ben-
ive tried two diffrent scopes both good ones and there is no problem with the scopes as they were on my other guns and ive tried loseing the clamps and then tightening them once the barrel has re centered its self and its still hitting to the right
