  3. I'm looking to shoot a teal before the new year I've had no success in the past 2 years and would like to finally get one before the new year. I'm happy to pay for a flight on a pond or swap for a morning or evening goose shooting over decoys. Ideally suffolk area but will travel

    Eley Lightning

I've had plenty of geese with the 36g 3s if your pushing the range to far for them I think a heaver cartridge is needed as the pattern will be a bit patchy I imagine.

    Hush power 12g Wildfowling

Invite the farmer to shoot the ducks/geese with you. Can't go wrong if he's shooting with you, or he may say no but go ahead with ithe. Or shoot it in the evening.

  16. Ive been given the go ahead for a new rifle a deer specific rifle ive got a 243 but thats being used for mainly foxing so i now have a excuse to get a new rifle i was thinking something along the lines of 308 or maybe 30-06 maybe something a little different not that hard to come buy as i dont reload yet. It will be for anything from roe up to reds. And the possibility in the future to take it for a go on the wild boar.

  20. Ive got a fallow and am planning on just scull mounting it ive counted 27 points on its antlers how do you measure them i was just wondering if it was a trophy head
  21. ive always been taught to believe if its broken and unloaded your fine but if its a semi-auto i believe it has to be slipped
  22. is it a rifle or shotgun?
  23. Absolute rubbish new ones are very durable you would be fine as long as your not shooting at them but to rain shot over them you should be fine.
  24. Hello Im looking into the ins and outs of starting up a small pheasant shoot not sure on how many days a year no more that 10 probably about 6 . Im struggling to find information on cost involved such as pens costs feeding land rental before i approach the farmers, cover crop per acre. Im looking to do it next season depending on if i can make it feasible and find people to help and get involved. I have knowledge into the running of shoot days and helped but never to this extent. Thanks Ben
