Despite having over 32 yrs experience with firearms and 8 of those in the Army firing 7.62 and larger, it was decided to attach a mentoring condition for the .243 for deer (no mentoring for fox). I don't yet shoot deer and don't have anyone to mentor me says I. FEO says well that's the condition unless you do the DSC1. Well, I've got the DSC1 at the end of the month and my tickets came through today with the variations for .223 and .243 on stating that I am attending the DSC1.
