Awards Dinner - Saturday the 31st of March 2012

The CPSA Annual Awards is an exciting new scheme devised to recognise the outstanding efforts of individuals, clubs and other organisations that help to promote and develop the sport of clay pigeon shooting in England.

 

With the fantastic support of a wide range of sponsors, the competition is open to any member to nominate a worthy recipient of a recognition award and valuable prize. In each of the seven categories (listed below), the short-listed contenders will be invited to a prestigious Awards Dinner following the Association’s AGM on 31st March 2012, which will be held at the Holiday Inn at Crick, just off the M1.

CLUB / GROUND OF THE YEAR

To recognise the club or ground that has made a significant contribution to the shooting experience of CPSA members

 

SCHOOL OF THE YEAR

Sponsored by the Oxford Gun Company, in association with The Schools Challenge

To recognise the school or college that has best encouraged and supported the participation of its students in clay pigeon shooting

 

SHOOTING DEVELOPMENT PROJECT OF THE YEAR

Sponsored by WWSI (World Wide Sports Insurance UK)

To recognise the project that has achieved the greatest success in developing the sport through attracting more shooters and encouraging new participants

 

YOUNG SHOT OF THE YEAR

Sponsored by Browning

To recognise the success and progress made by an outstanding young shooter (16 or under at 31st December 2011)

 

VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR

Sponsored by TBA

To recognise the contribution of an outstanding volunteer, tirelessly supporting the sport or their club, county, or region to ensure the enjoyment of others

 

COACH OF THE YEAR

Sponsored by Glenbrae Knitwear

To recognise the outstanding contribution of a coach in developing their shooter(s) to make excellent progress and/or achieve great success

 

CLAY SHOOTER OF THE YEAR

To recognise the outstanding shot of the year for their achievement at the highest level or consistent high performance throughout the season
