The Essex Hunter
Here is a couple of pictures of a mod I made for my scope mounted Light Force 170, The rest are on my photo bucket link so save reducing the pictures! There is no light pollution from the moderator; and it appears to be as stable when it was on the original bracket, also a bonus is I can see the target without this haze that I experienced when it was mounted as it came out of the box! It is made from Nylon 66 and I will drill lighting holes after some more field work. I will paint the bracket black but left them as they would not show up in the picture. It is just an extension of the original LF shaped bracket; the spring pip was a bit fiddly I kept the same dimensions as the bracket so the damper washer could be used in the bottom slide fitting. http://s856.photobucket.com/albums/ab130/TheEssexHunter/Light%20force%20mod/?action=view¤t=STA60320.jpg TEH
