Flat-Cap
Hevi Shot is a non toxic (i.e. not lead) load, generally used for shooting waterfowl, where using lead may contaminate the water. I thought £600 per 500 is quite cheap - normally they're > £800 per 500 !! For clays I've never found a problem with the Hull Comp X cartridges at £160 per 1000. Minimal recoil, and not had a misfire or failure in 10,000+ cartridges.
ChrisAsh
At our shoot it's all steel 24gramat £3.40 per 25 perfectly good enough for skeet and sporting non comp A lot of people now shoot 24gram 7.5's and some 21gram 7.5's no need for expensive cartridges unless you are a great shot and can tell the difference
OvEr_KiLL
alot of people around here use Eley Olympics 28g 7.5 plastic wad for clays as they seem to be the best cartridges without spending a fortune as for game, im not sure which cartridges but i would go with 30g 6 fibre wad
