Merlin64
I have been watching some pigeons of 200-400 flying in to woods on my permission . They head for the centre of the wood but are low enough to shoot going at speed with wind behind them . Usually at 3pm onwards as they head for roosting . Fantastic sight as they fly in hoards over me at speed that you would need 10ft of lead I think . The wood is 50 acres and finding the resting spot would need an army of spotters . Is this common on many of your shoots ?
Cosd
Why are you watching and not shooting them? Sounds like you have a decent roost shoot there.

Cosd
I apologise, I miss understood your post. Keep an eye on windy days, where they will be flying lower.
Merlin64
Yeah they are flying at very fast pace and in woods I have a fraction to get lead on them and follow through is impossible as the canopy is thick . But very exciting to see them at such a fast flight going over me .cheers
