Hanging Muntjac

Hi there,

You might have seen my thread asking for advice on butchering a muntjac and i suppose this is related (but i thought might be better with it's own thread?)

 

How long would you recommend a mjuntjac carcass to be hung before butchery? (and would this be skinned or skin on?)

 

Also i don't have access to a fridge big enough to hang a munty in, so if it's hung it would be in the garage, is this ok regarding temperature etc (it would be in a fly net). A little worried that the carcass might not be as cool as it should be especially given the warm winter we're having so far!

Couple of days at most in this tempreture, skin on and your fly net (shouldnt be any flys around but who knows)

I hang mine in the garage, always fine and Im still alive
