alexcs
Don't know if there are many poultry enthusiasts on here but I suppose that its worth a shot. On monday I hatched out 7 frizzle chicks from a small incubator, but as the others started walking about, two of them hop on one leg, with the other stuck out at a funny angle. Any one got an idea of the problem, and how to solve it? Cheers
Cranfield
I use to breed standard bantams and it was not unusual for some newly hatched chicks to be unsteady for a day, or three. Keep an close watch on them to ensure its not some deformity and hopefully, all will be well. I have seen some frizzle bantams, the mixed coloured ones are quite impressive looking birds. Quist
May be a problem with humidity in the incubator. Sticky chicks can be the result. Not much you can do to cure after the hatch. Keep the temperature stable, out of drafts and make sure you turn daily.
