robborobbo
over cropped barley ( cropped about 2 months ago ) seen a lot of activity of pigeons. Got the hide set up which I had to hold with my foot because the wind was so strong and set up a v shaped decoy pattern. As soon as I sat in the hide a few woodies came for a look but didn't commit. I left plenty of room and the decoys were facing into the wind or near enough. Stayed out for about an hour and a half to no avail. Went home empty handed :( Though I would share my defeat

wickedwickedmotox
Try setting up differently, almost all decoyers set up in a v or horseshoe i have never found it to work its ****, have you ever seen pigeons in a horse shoe feeding? They all must know now that whenever the see a v or horseshoe there going to be shot at! try setting up 3 or 4 small groups of deeks in seperate groups, then a couple of bouncers/floaters faced into the wind on a piece of 5mm steel bar varyin lengths i always find this works well for me! Always check/get to know your winter/summer flight lines sit in a car in a high place near your land and watch the area with a set of bins for a few hours in the morning or afternoon and see whats around! Good luck!
