dave83
hi just seeing if there is any pigeon shooters in the ashford, folkestone or canterbury area that wouldn't mind me coming along with them to shoot or just to watch. just want to learn a bit more from them and to see how someone else does things. if anyone can help it would be much appreciated, dave
Hamster
Do you have much land of your own yet? Normally I'd have no issues taking a newbie out once or twice but there is just so little rape been put in this year for some reason and nothing on them in any case. It seems they are all still on the acorns.
dave83
i have a 15 acres field in sellinge for rabbit shooting i use my shotgun at my nans 25 acre wood and about a 50 acre field next to that which i belive winter croip is growing there but i have the same proble no pigeons about. ive been shooting a couple of years but would like to get more involved in pigeon shooting. i have all my own gear and regully practice with clays at my nans. i'm also insured through BASC. where do you come from, dave
Hamster
I have some land close to Dover and a fair bit closer to home near Canterbury and Herne but at the moment there are no pigeon hitting crops decoying wise. Things might change drastically in a few weeks so don't despair.
CZ550Kevlar
BASC say pigeon numbers are up, up where i have no idea as there is nothing around here except crows, if it picks up i`ll make an offer.
