vole
I upgraded my D cell Maglite with a Terralux and it has improved it vastly . I am now wanting to do the same for my AA mini Maglite but there seems to be alot more choice from Terralux and Nite Ize with varying reviews . Anyone upgraded theirs and recommend which ? Some are reported to stop you using the beam adjustment etc . All info appreciated thanks .
remy 700
Hi did my aa with the nite eyze kit , its brighter by 15% and bats have not run out in ages , but the new torches are way better like the led lenser ones , so I would not bother and buy an up to date small torch imo , cheers
vole
Cheers Remy . Got the Lenser T 7 and it is great , just did not want the Maglite stuck in a drawer even if it just for the wee lass to use at Guide camp
jgguinness
I have a Cree 300 lumin torch that I got off ebay for around £10. It takes one AA battery, has an adjustable lens that goes from wide spread to focused and it is amazing. The best £10 I have spend on a torch. I can lamp rabbits in the field out the back of mine to 50 yards easily, and the battery lasts for ages too. The same as this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CREE-Q5-LED-300-Lumens-Zoom-Torch-Flashlight-Lamp-Light-3-Modes-Black-/250975596117?pt=UK_SportsLeisure_Camping_LightsLanternsTorches&hash=item3a6f4fae55 Cheers
