i shot this a few weeks before xmas went down to one of the woods for a spot of roost shoting. it was very windy and there are some dead trees in that wood and i felt a bit uneasy did not fancy a branch or tree on my head. so i stood on the edge of wood and got a few good shots in i could see some pheasents making there way over to the wood to roost .time to move again so i walked up to the small duck pond there was a good flight line following the hedge that runs towards the wood .just off from the hedge there is a small long stack of wrapped bales .i had about ten shots off when i so this feller coming down the hedge with the wind up his tail he was on a mission so i just kept still. which way will he go left or right of the bales.well he shot out on the right hand side bang bang all done one nice dog fox in super condtion .he just kept coming down that hedge did not know i was there it must have been the wind. farmer was happy the fox wasnt :good:
