8 Bore reloading and Data wanted.

Recommended Posts

I'm a bit of a big bore nut, at the moment I've got 3 8's a single and 2 doubles(one old and one of the more modern rebored 10's) plus a single 4, but being a big bore nut I was enquiring more out of interest mate but I know quite a few others who may have stuff for sale from time to time.

If you want to PM me what you're looking for and an idea of your budget I can pass the word around.

I have been considering selling my single, at the moment it is with the gunsmith as I wanted the chamber re-cut for a longer cartridge a re-proof and brass carts made for it, but it's been with him for what seems forever. It would need a good tidy as I used it quite often before I got the old double and the 4, but I'm a bit of a hoarder where the old stuff is concerned.

Many thanks for your reply Mike,...I'm looking for a " single Barrel/Hammer/jones underlever type"...as original condition as possible....in good condition or at least in strong/sound condition...tight on the Face....barrel in clean order with not too much wear from the "original bore measurements as stamped"...the one I buy I'd like to keep and use ( I'm not a dealer) if its the right gun.....Price would be negotiable with the seller/s....everybody wants a good deal!

Best wishes....Dale.
