sparky_94
was just hoping if someone could help me. I am 17 and not long a go my dad passed away and I have always gone shooting with him I have both shotgun and firearms licenses. I was just hoping if anyone could help me with getting permission off some farmers? also with me being young is it worth getting a letter saying that I am responsible as I could Imagen it would be a lot for a farmer to let a 18 year old just go on his land ? thanks you hope some one can help. stavvy
I'm sorry to hear about your dad but I think you will have to get out there and knock on some doors. You might get lucky on here but I doubt it. Good Luck and keep trying

BRAD1927
Sorry to hear your sad news. Did your dad have permissions and if so can you not just take them over?
sparky_94
Sorry to hear your sad news. Did your dad have permissions and if so can you not just take them over? yes we had a lot of permission but it was quit far away and i haven't got my car on road yet as i need to take my test because i wanted to see them in person instead of ringing them. hopefully will be on road in another 3 4 weeks. we have a few local farms in walking distance which i am going to see just knowing what are the right things to say because there are a lot of young people that go ******* the farmers off taking there bikes on there land and that they are my age so dont really know what to say to get there trust.
