deny essex Posted February 17, 2012 Report Share Posted February 17, 2012 (edited) Thats a dove and not sure I would use one , I think our sponsers do a woody one not sure on motorised though ,boucer and rotary wind operated, not got one myself but people say they work and no doubt they will be replying to your thread. Teal Posted February 17, 2012 Report Share Posted February 17, 2012 People have tried these, some companies do sell them with a woodpigeon on them, and they do work to an extent, however based on the feedback on here (do a search) the results in general with them are pretty poor. If you want a flapping decoy like that you are better off looking at hypaflap, which UK Shootwarehouse sell, as they certainly do work. That said a flapper with a dead bird on it, is the best option. Managed to get them for a tenner each, instead of the normal price of £15.00. I think a1 decoys sold them. Worth a shot giving them a bell, save getting the paint out.
