trakker01 Posted June 28, 2006 Report Share Posted June 28, 2006 i read all theses topics ,with guys looking for permission to shoot, i look after 6 large sites on a 2/3 some times 4/5 trips on a weekly basis, i take care of 2 sites per month,+ if need be & keep it all managed well, the land owners look after me in treats,(quads to ride/tools to use) & i get to do what i want & my freezer is always full of the best the land & seasons has to offer.. i just been offered another 850+ acre site , dont know if i can fit it in on a realiable basis ,so im gonna study it later t'day...looking like a fox site!! so it may be good in the twilight hours...cooooooool! so if ya struggling to get permission bare in mind 1- some farmers would like a hand, baling etc.OFFER help ,take the kids to see the animals & what goes on..( a good way to get permission later) BIG SMILES 2-don't wreck the barns with holes.fix up there fences when ya walkin around(straighten em up etc) 3- don't keep em awake all nite,especially shotty guys.. ( these guys do long hours of hard graft. ) 4- tidy up after ya self.(collect them old spent cartriges/shut gates/) 5- phone the land owner up, a social call works wonders! ( meet em in the bar for a pint/find out whats nigglin em!-squirrel/rooks??) 6- enjoy & have safe fun!! word ya good gets around the place & before ya know it, you've got too much land...oooooooops!
