i forgot to say i will be using cheddite primers

Red Dot.....? Nooooooooooooooo!!!!!

You need a slow powder. I am looking at a proof report for a 16gram 3" I tried last month with CSB0 and that is as slow as a boring Maths lesson!!!! The report showed 950 bar!

i see thanks for the reply, do you or can any one reccomend suitable powder please

2" A0

2.5" 2400, H110, BA5, Tecna, SP3, Win 296.

3" SP3, BA5, CSB0*, Win 296.

* be careful; even a 'well-known' recipe can be mis-typed!!!! e.g. take a look at at the Siarm .410 load of 36 grams!!! See below:

http://www.siarm.it/product_info.php?cPath=96_105_114&products_id=471&osCsid=8d594f109d711e41b127f1c0128931be

**Also, the low power primers such as 684, CX50 and F614 are best used. The Cheddite CX50 will FALL OUT of some of the brands of case; e.g.the shells originally loaded with F614 and M684 because the CX50 is much SLIMMER. Mike them up and see.

red dot?

you couldnt find any recipes because redot is not a .410 powder. it shouldnt even be used in a 20gauge, let alone a .410.

Go to hodgdon, alliant, or any powder manufacturer, and look for .410 recipes.

then buy powder / components, reload, shoot, repeat.
