dave1992
As the title suggests, i want to remove the action so that i can re-do the stock. Do i remove the buttplate and use a long screwdriver to the back of the action? :S confused about this as i do not want to have parts all over the place. Thanks, Dave

deershooter
They dont normally have a stock bolt its usually a screw under the top leaver and under the trigger guard but dont try it without the correct turnscrews normal screwdrivers are no good at all Deershooter

rtaylor
You have to take the screw out at the back of the trigger guard, then the trigger guard unscrews from the action. There is another screw on the bottom of the action in the middle, lastly there is one under the top lever which needs to come out. The action comes apart in two sections, top and bottom. Let me know if you get stuck and I'll post some pictures of mine.
Hector Vector
Have a look at bit further down the board at a post called "8 bore greylag stock refinishing". The gun shown in the pictures is an AYA No.4 but your Yeoman comes apart in the same way.
