rich686s
I have a 30 inch barrel on my gold fusion semi auto. I would like ideally a replacement 26 inch for the pigeon hide as I have stopped using it for clays. I would prefer another in 26 inch so that I can swap them around if need be. But I think I would use the 26 inch one the most now. Is it possible to get my 30inch barrel shortened to 26? And What sort of cost would this be? Sx3 clay breaker
You could do it your self but then you've got to have it rechocked because it would be cylinder or maybe buy a cheap gun or trade it in sx3 Ps highly recommend the sx3
rich686s
I did look at the sx3 but the fusion fitted me better. I like the gun so would like to find a shorter barrel and keep it but if i cant then i would have to look at trading it in. shame as it is in mint condition and shoots well. Frankbrickbats
If the sx3 barrel fits they sell them at midway Hi sx3 This is sounding interesting, do these diferent barrels interchange?, I could also do with a short barrel for my 3.5" Gold Hunter 30" dont realy want to do wthout this long option its good for geese, shorter is better for pidgeons, has any one got any comments or better still a barrel for the same. Mike525steel
Use the 30" for everything I do and have no issue And I shoot more in the hide than anything
Frankbrickbats
Use the 30" for everything I do and have no issue And I shoot more in the hide than anything Nice to hear things work ok for you, I have been down this route before about my preference for short barrels, which the usual reply is short legs and long barrels are not a good mix, I can put up with the long barrel when goosing, there are not as many shots fired or setting and collecting as many deeks if any. I do manage very well when it comes to shooting the 30" however the shorter ones swing better on unpredictable pidgeons, I do have an Escort with a 25" & 28" barrel but still prefere the Browning I do hope you are all getting some shots in this weekend.
