Puppy poo!

My 4 month pup has been having intermitant diarrhea for the past few days. She typically has a nice normal very dry stool first thing in the morning and then again after brekkie - she'll then have a walk and have a soft 'walnut whip' then lunch around midday followed by a normal dry stool and then again mid afternoon a couple of small liquid poos.

Just when I start getting concerned she has a normal one again. I dont want to take her to the vet if nothing to worry about!?

She was last wormed 2 weeks ago, she is lively and her normal bouncey self, I havent changed her food and she is eating and drinking well as usual.

Any suggestions or advice?

if she is eating drinking and being playful, she is likely fine, be concerned if she goes quiet or lethargic or has any bloody mucus. continue to feed good quality food, don't swop and change it, i sometimes for pups under 5mth feed a milky lunchtime meal like rice pudding.

worm her when she is due, once a month at this age.

Yeah same here mate, he'll have his normal one, and i pretty much know on the walk, all the physical activty will make a soft one... i guess its excitement and passing through quicker or the physical side and wanting to empty his bowel completely

but hes full of beans, regularly wormed and in great condition as i'm sure your dog is :)

i think when to worry is when its all the time and there is blood and or mucus in it. the vet told me sometimes thats a infection in the intestine and warrants a jab

its just a nightmare trying to pick those ones up
