Merlin64
Tried the new dippas yesterday and they pulled in birds very close .Bit fiddly to get the right action and the top clip kept pinging off if the wind got up . Otherwise I think they will be a good tool in my decoy armoury .
deny essex
Try closeing the bends down on the clip a little, where it goes to the flat with a pair of pliers , maybe I forgot to do it . Glad you had a good day with them, you will get used to setting the dippas the way you like Good luck Edited March 10, 2012 by deny essex
Merlin64
Yes went out today and had a few more . Its great because I like watching them when its quiet . I need to get out more ? I will try crimping the clips , what about superglueing them ? The spring sticks work well with them . What sort of stick would work for my FUDS ? deny essex
Crimping is usualy enough to do the trick, but there are some very polished pegs about, if you find the clips still slideing and slipping off rub the area of the peg where the clip goes with coarse abrasive paper to rough up the slippery surface. Glueing and strapping only if you want a permanent peg mount. Edited March 11, 2012 by deny essex
