Ireland's Finest! Posted March 20, 2012 Report Share Posted March 20, 2012 The top trap looks the job, you should consider putting some sort of cover over the call bird tho if the weather turns. Tbh I always got my first bird of someone else, its a right pain trying to catch one otherwise but if it was to work I'd imagine you'd be best tring around mid April to Mid May when the birds become really territorial. grasshopper Posted March 20, 2012 Report Share Posted March 20, 2012 Well done Mark,ignore the negative comments,your traps look excellent mate On 21 Maggies in just over 2 weeks so far with 5 larsons running on 1 farm. Moved 1 of them to another farm tonite,as there's about a dozen milling around together.
