Farmer-of-the-Futre
Heyy all. I have always liked to carry my s410 and air ranger (when i had it) with the bolt up/ back. Is there any problem with cocking/ loading the gun and leaving it back? It just feels like a secondary (or primary) saftey to me. Thanks, Matt
bedwards1966
I can't see any possible problems with that, I never had an issue when I did that on an air rifle I had. It's the only way to be safe.
bullet boy
I always leave my Rapid bolts unlocked from the action when stored away.So theres no pressure on the spring of the bolt.
BRYAN3
I have fac Airwolf and have accidentaly nudged the bolt back and fired it. There is no tension or resistance and the bolt flicks back. On firing it gives a loud report like a 410 shotgun, sending all the bunnies running. The Airwolf can fire no matter where the bolt is. I don't know about other makes. If your rifle remains unable to fire with bolt back, then it is an extra layer of safety. Bryan.
