bigsam
hi all, been out looking at a few bits today on ground that i can shoot on and it seems the pigeons are starting to get about now. have been watching them trying to drop in tram lines in semi-ripe wheat and getting on the sides of rape fields getting itchy finger now might go out tommorow and try to get on a flight line. i reckon they are probably about a week from the start of cutting the rape so i am watching in earnest for the next few weeks as i can see a couple of "sickies" coming up lol hows things elsewhere ? cheers BS
the hitman
The birds in my area are all over the place clover, setaside, uncut rape, barley/wheat tramlines. The OSR up here is at least 4 weeks away from being cut, so the signs are good for aug/sept.
