Stealth Stalker
I went all the way to Pelt mans (6 doors down the road) to pick up the 2 new ferrets he's kindly offered me. I've now got myself 2 beautiful albino jills "Bertha & Lil" are settling nicely in to their new home & are looking forward to days out in the field. Thanks again see you soon SS How did you get on today, catch any bigguns?
the pelt man
Big Carp moving around on surface like subs, My mate used a bit of crust just under a float to get a bit of distance, one Carp moved in, dived about 2 meters away, Then bang, down went the float, nothing. After that they were just simming around on the surface but not touching anything we tried. Had the rimmy's with us to take a few bunnies for the last half hour of day light, "THUNDERBIRDS" (phone ring tone) wife, we are ment to be going to a birthday party get home now. So no shooting, back home where i stayed baby sitting my 2 year old daughter while the Wife went to the party & got ******. Pin came round & took a DVD of footage of Muntjac being called in by me last year. He is going to rip it & stick it on the Forum so keep your eyes peeled, no shooting but some good footage anyway. Including the Buck that is in my signature, which i shot about a month or 2 later. . I'm out tonight without any calls from the Wife so should have better luck. Glad the Kits are doing OK, they have gone to a good home. Hope you had fun with PIN shooting clays this morning. PELTMAN
Stealth Stalker
Pelt man Started off pretty miserable, that horrible fine drizzle, then only hit 3 out of 12 on the first stand On the easiest looking targets your ever likely to see I soon picked up & ended with 33 out of 50 on a sporting layout. Not a bad score for me I've got some rabbit livers for you, shall I drop them round? Cheers SS
