Alex C
Hi Guys On the small shoot i am a member of we have a couple of small ponds which although we get ducks on are slowly becoming choked with weed / reeds. Other than getting in the pond and pulling it out is there another way ? Obviously we dont want to pollute the water in any way but is there a safe chemical option ? Cheers
39TDS
Some of the glyphosate formulations are cleared for waterways use. Not sure it would do it though. If they are big enough ponds stick some Grass Carp in there. They will help.

sixhills 69
can you weld if so make some large rackes welded back to back weld a section of steel from each corner making a triangle with spikes sticking up both ways. Attach to a strong rope and then pull i use my quad bike it is amazing what you will get out. then i just tidy the reeds up always cut as low don to the route at and angle to give a good clean cut and they will sprout in the spring. Hope this helps
