I have just got confirmation of my work experience at school this October. I’m go to be working with a professional pest controller (County Pest Control) and I am looking forward to it. I’m going to be Deer stalking, Night shooting and lamping, Rabbiting, and any form of pest control available.

Any way this got me thinking I’m going to do a few years courses at sparsholt collage of agriculture I’m doing 1 year Game and Wildlife Management and other game management courses and a few courses on forestry. I’m keeping my options open but does any one know what sort f jobs I could get into?

I was thinking about going abroad I really like Canada but I’m not sure if threes much demand for that sort of thing over there. Is there any one in one in the forestry/Game industry around here?

I have just finished 2 years at Sparsholt College. They taught me a lot but in my opinion I think you should do the National Certificate in Game and Waterkeeping then go onto a NVQ on an estate. Get all the experience you can and all the courses and qualificatons such as ATV's, tractors, chainsaws etc. Go for it and if you work bloody hard you will get somewhere in the industry!

After college get yourself a dog, rifles , etc then apply for jobs. They are hard to get into!!!

If you want to suceed and be the best in the buisness you can- you just have to work for it.

Good luck.
