topshunt
Ok so me and my dad went to kibworth a few days ago for an introduction to clays, and we can both safetly say were hooked, and it's going to get expensive, and also i think we did quite well, i hit 17 my dad hit 18 out of 25. I had shot on one occasion about 10 years ago, my dad not since 1970's so we were very pleased with our results. As for the coach/instructor, we couldn't fault him, very nice friendly guy who put us at ease and with a wealth of experience/knowledge. SGC applications in the post. topshunt
Hi we were on the stands out the back they use for training next to the cabin for safety talk, then onto the stand next to the podium for 1st 2nd 3rd,opposite the air rifle shop door, we did some left to right then right to left.I know there are much harder stands as i have watched others when i'm down there on rifle range, but to be honest i would have been happy to hit one. I'm prety sure with more practise/experience i'll improve and the harder ones wont be so hard. Just wish sgc would hurry up, think i'm addicted already. can't wait to have another go. chady
Mine was beging of this year. They were quoting 8 weeks at time. And I think it is down to your area you live in I admitingly got a phone call. I am not far from you are you at home? And I only work 10min away and could leave work to sort it. So think that's what saves time what area the inspectors are in as they don't really want to keep going from boarder to boarder all the time So I suppose there was a lot of luck in mine And I don't know any one on the inside. bigmanuk
I live in leicestershire and got my shotgun certificate last year for the first time. Took nearly 4 months. They are really helpfull; however there are big delays these days as they made quite a few people redundant last year with government cutbacks, so they always now have a big pile of applications.
