Dynamic85
The charging connector for my older style S410k is leaking again, for the third time now. Looking at pictures of the newer style ones, they don't look like you can just straight swap them. Any ideas as to how I can stop the yearly valve replacement? secretagentmole
Simple, buy a BSA or an HW!

secretagentmole
"Simple, buy a BSA or an HW"-over a S410? You're joking right? No, never had to replace a valve on my BSA or my HW. Proves how well made they are. The Super 10 accurate as hell, quiet, lethal, the HW, same as before, only even quieter. Air Arms S410s feel flimsy by comparison. ben456
AIR ARMS all day long. I might have a spare filling valve for the old one. As i used to have one are try and dig it out for you free of charge Edited April 12, 2012 by ben456
richard1951
they are all well made they are all as acurate and all will have problems from time to time. The prob i have is that i am a smoker and pockets always has tobaco in and it gets in the fill valve if i put it in and that i think then gets in the valve on gun causing a slight leak , but you cant blame the gun for that. secretagentmole
Ah, easy fix then, give the fill valve a little blast of air through it before you put it on. Simples! Stops the need for changing valves, or, here is a good one, put the adaptors in an old pellet tin. Stops all manner of nasty stuff sticking to them! Buying a mark one HW100 would also stop the problem though, as the air cylinder has to be screwed into a filling adaptor that is on the air cylinder not on a whip lead! Also, even though I didn't buy the rifle from new, I like the idea that I'm supporting a British company.
