markyboy
Just got myself 2 ponds on and area of 550 acre farmland well spaced apart ! One pond looks like it will be perfect mabie just needs the depth dropped about a 1ft ! The other pond sits just inside a wood, with firs round about it on one side and lower type tress at other side , to me it looks tight for the ducks to come in and land and possibly be difficult to shoot ! Is it worth the hassle ?
Son of a gun
do the ponds already have ducks on them or would you realese them. also ducks are very agile if there is food on the pond and they like it it will work. and choping a few trees to make a clear enterance cant do any harm. markyboy
No be wild ducks fed into flight pond. Been duck on it in the past but it's never been used for a few years as a flight pond and the trees have got a little high!
