Yildiz 20 bores

Hi,

At the CLA today I handled a great multitude of nice little 20's. One that stood out to me was a Yildiz 20 bore ejector on the Avalon Guns stand. Although if you go down to Avalon's shop they will let you try before you buy and this is where I will make my mind up as I will choose the gun that fits best. But... have any of you had experience of the Yildiz range and in particular the O/U 20 bores?

Many thanks for any and all replies. :good:

FM

my brother shoots a .410 yildliz, and its a very well built and pretty gun, he gets on well with it. The only thing i dont like is the triggers, which are VERY heavy, this is due to the trigger mechanism they use (not recoil opperated), however i am not sure if the O/U uses the same setup. When i was doing my work experiance at potters i did handle one and did notice that it came up very flat for me, and had an awful lot of drop at comb and toe. It seemed a well put together gun and the wood wasnt bad either.

Assuming the triggers are good i think you could do alot worse than a yildiz for a first gun.
