dougall Posted May 15, 2012 Report Share Posted May 15, 2012 too many variables I'm 'fraid,depends upon speed of bird,speed of your swing,your method used etc.. Practice and or lessons only true way to find out what is best for you.... For a normal speed standard clay its about 6 foot at the bird for me but I really am not sure this will help you! atb. I have much more success swinging through the clay and pulling the trigger as I go past it. Use the force, Luke. Agreed on the skeet comment, excellent way to practice.
