Thedeerman Posted May 22, 2012 Report Share Posted May 22, 2012 As long as it is a shotgun and not a rook rifle or similar. Take it too your local RFD and get them to have a look. It may not be worth the hassle of getting it on ticket and then just have it destroyed. If you do decide to keep it and get it on ticket your RFD can do this for you. bedwards1966 Posted May 22, 2012 Report Share Posted May 22, 2012 If it's got a barrel that measures a minimum of 24" (taken from the point of ignition, i.e the firing pin) and is smooth-bore (not rifled) then I'm pretty sure it will not be section 1.
