Alpha Mule
Grrrrr! Night 1: set up foxclock with a woodie. Moved enough to stop the clock at 3, but not taken. Night 2: set up foxclock with pork sausages and scatter cat food. Neither touched, but pigeon from previous night has gone. Night 3: Set up foxclock with 1/2 rabbit Nothing touched. So I'm walking back up the field this morning at 5.30 to my access gate thinking, "stuff it, I'll move it all tonight. That's a B as I clearly heard a fox calling at dusk a week ago." That was when I saw the movement where I have decided will be my shooting point. The half decent sized cub then spotted me and took off like a scalded cat. I reckon I have an irregular fox family as in the next field I can see where they have been in the long grass, but going by the undisturbed dew on the grass, I'd say they were there during the night. I'm not sure the ticking of the foxclock isn't scaring them away too. Thoughts?
