Hi all hope youe well

has anyone got this same problem i have a citroen dispatch 02 plate had it about six month done 100k miles.

the van is in fairly good nick but it has one fault that is realy bugging me, the fan for the heater intermittently comes on and off, it wont work when i start and then comes on half power and then full and then goes off for a bit then comes on and sometimes doesn't work for few days and comes on out of the blue for a bit.

i dont know where to start looking for the heating matrex so any help would be great.

Thanks

Stuart

I am almost certain that it will be the resistor thingy that goes inside the blower motor which is central behind the dash, they are very common replacement parts, they seem to go all the time. And luckily it slides into the motor and has a large electrical connector, so replacing the fan doesnt need to be done, just the resistor.

Go onto the net and google it and you will see pics of it, and people who can show you how to test if it is that part that is a fault by using a paper clip or bit of wire. I seem to recall I got one from a breakers posted for about £35.

They usually appear on ebay too.

Hope this help.

Schmoo.
