Hi all hope we are all having a good season I have two labs one is aged 2 and one aged4 in the last couple of days I have noticed both dogs have started sneezing a lot and the older has runny nose and eyes are streaming both bitches are not spayed I have had them vaccinated to date and had kennel cough vaccinations any idea's what could be wrong with them. They still up for work and eating so I'm not too worried but they are not right. Thanks all Stuart

Hi all Hope you're all well and bagging up onthe harvest , I've got an issue with my sporttrack and need some help advice if possible I've had some issues with it not clicking into 4 wheel drive (auto hubs) so took it to repair guy he cleaned up auto hubs and replaced lhs one as said was damaged but it still sometimes doesn't seem to engage into 4×4 every time, I have to drive forward/backward 2 or three times then it seems to click in any one else had these probes or know of quick fix. Getting that Jared off with it I'm thinking of going to manual hubs

I use 7's because they are near on a tenner a slab cheaper I had some black gold fives 32g given to me and have to say if I could afford to spend £60a slab they would be the ones id use as i wasndropping birds out a long way further no messing with them boys when you hit um you hit um

Hi all Last sunday I managed to break my foot apparently its my 3rd metatarsal, I have been fitted witb a boot and told to keep my weight off but im self employed no insurance, anyone know when ill be abke to start hobbling around on it its still far to painful at the min. I was hoping 2-3 weeks and I coukd get about on the boot

28-30grm black gold will knock down the highest birds they hit real hard also if I can't get black gold rc snipe are my second choice all in no 6 shot I have shot 5's but I find 6's bit quicker.

Hi all hope youe well has anyone got this same problem i have a citroen dispatch 02 plate had it about six month done 100k miles. the van is in fairly good nick but it has one fault that is realy bugging me, the fan for the heater intermittently comes on and off, it wont work when i start and then comes on half power and then full and then goes off for a bit then comes on and sometimes doesn't work for few days and comes on out of the blue for a bit. i dont know where to start looking for the heating matrex so any help would be great. I got one of these about 8 weeks ago and was wondering if i had done the right thing and so far so good i would recomend them, i think they have had some bad press in the past but i love mine. ive tried 28-7s,24-8s,34-4s and 30-6s in itso far and they all cycle fine although it's early days i think the bereta is going to spend alot longer in the cabinet.

You are prob best to wait until the farmer cuts it and get on that day or the next if he will let you know when he will do it. P.s it's up to you but i never take my dog on cut rape as it's like a razor and always worried she will end up cut bad. good luck

sounds like a hernia to me mate i know you can get them in some weird places it may be a sliding hiatus hernia i would keep on at the docs until they refer you to a specialist.

Hi all Ok so i went out yesturday and had a drive around with my local farmer who has about 20 acres of rape that is still getting hit by the pigeons, we drove onto one feild and in the corner about 70-100 pigeon lifted and flew away, behind this field is a field that has been set aside and there is a strip of maize that has been cut and left after the pheasent season, the birds were also on this prob about 30-50 feeding on the old cobs, the maize and the rape are seperated by a ditch and some hedge row. My idear was to set up on the maize stubble as it's easyer to see the decoys with a rotary and some real birds prev frozen about a dozon and try to bring them in from both sides, Do you guys think it will be better on the maize or tuff it out on the rape, i was thinking of starting at about eight. any advise would be great..

Glad to know I'm not the only one who has spent entire nights perched on the edge of the bed, I'm taking 60mg of lansaprazole 30 twice a day and I've tried all the others like meprazole and ritnadine but still keeps comming back now and then I think I maybe need special diet i am getting really fed up with it.

Hi all bit of a weird one here I have had trouble with severe heart burn for about two years now and it's getting me down, I have in the last month seen a specialist and had a camara down into my asophacus, it turns out I have a hiatus hernia, I have now been asked back to the hospital for a 24 hour ph test, Does anyone know about this test and what it's like the camara was hidius and I'm hoping the ph test is not as bad. Does any one else suffer with this problem and have any tips on relief . Thanks Stuart

Got there this morning at 5.45 set up and ready to shoot by 6.20 set up with 12 decoys and 2 floaters and 2 flappers. first bird hit the pattern at about 7 followed by 5 of his friends shot the first one then missed the seccond bunch shot 4 in the next half hour and then it went dead not a sausage, left at 11 to drive past a grass verge with about 150 birds feeding on the clover..grraaa doesnt pigeon shooting get on ya tits. think i'm going to try and find some drills next week they seem late this year.

Hi all i've got a day shooting planned for this sat. i have been watching a rape field all this week ive driven past on the way to waork and on the way home, at about seven in the morning the birds seem to drop in to feed in 2 and 3's and when i go back at about 4.30 pm the are in flocks on the field in about 30-50;s any sergestions on how to go about shooting it, i was thinking of a 5.30 am start to try and get them on the way in when they are in smaller numbers at first light but not sure of the early start..and if this will work or just put them of to another field? Any idears i dont normaly shoot this time of year so a bit unsure.
