ferguson_tom
Hello Since i got it my Terrano has a problem with the heater temperature control, the knob turns but it is always hot which werent too bad during the winter but now in this temp it makes the car unbearable even with the fan turned off and the vents closed. I have never pulled a heater apart before but what is involved and what do you reckon might be the problem? It is a 2000 plate so has the dial rather than the sliding bar thing. Thanks, Tom
Rupert
it will probably have sone kind of cable to connect it to the actual heating thing, like a brake cable on a bike. Will be missing an end or the little plactic parts that recieve the cable will be chewed up. NickS
The problem with things related to heaters is that they tend to be buried behind the dash and can require some major dismantling to get at them. Given our climate and the need for heat 11 months of the year it is better than no heat - as long as the windows still open Nick
