Well what the hell!!!

I guess i never know till i try so here goes.

I have a 15 foot cabin boat (Myrtle jess) i want to sell and may as well try here as well as the local rag

She is 15 feet and has a 6 foot beam. She floats on about a foot of water and comes with a 4hp evinrude twin main engine and a Seagull reserve (3hp) i beleive.

Also she has Oars nav lights a life ring some fenders a profesional tonneau cover made this season. Sitting on a SBS trailer which had new bearings (also this season) and just towed from Norfolk to my house 276 miles with no probs a new winch post and new winch.

New wash boards and the wood seperating the cockpit from the cabin.

The trailer is quite old but seems to be fine what with towing fine n all.

She is quite tidy but if your a perfectionist will want a few (minor) jobs but she is ready to go as she is and was pottering along the river bure in norfolk only 2 weeks ago

Jobs are window rubbers (£25 from (E_B_A_Y) they leak slightly

and the reserve engine bracket could do with a small bit of alloy to replace the steel (corroding) re-enforcing plate that secures the bracket to the hull . (both easy jobs)

A boat the SAME as this on (E_B_A_Y) went for over £900 without a trailer and without nav lights etc etc here is the listing number

320014612094

Mine is tangerine orange top and white hull and was painted in what i assume was oystershell blue paint internally?? Flaking away but it's not detrimental to the operation of the boat.

as said she is ready to go as is and i have fished 2 off the NE Coast in still to slight conditions and found her fine even for a land lubber like myself OR you can get her spick and span and use her for lazy days on the rivers lakes or lochs.

I am looking for £700

I have seen this boat and for that price it`s a really good buy, Martin good luck not that you will need it at that price.

Cheers Geoff

Here are a couple of pics taken in feb when she was in hickling broad and before her hull was washed

The scum mark on the stern was oil and diesel scum from launching her in the boat yards slipway. They washed straight off and they are not permanent stains

Hope they give you a perspective of her.
