castletyne
Thinking about buying a Dodge Nitro but was wondering if anyone has anyone has one and what are they like Would prefer a Navara but giving up on the crazy insurance quotes
gixer1
To be honest I haven't heard a single good report on them - although they're not a bad looking motor, I heard they are expensive for parts. Have a look on Parkers guide to see what they say... Edit - here's the overview - The Dodge Nitro is an imposing 4x4 with chunky all-American styling and plenty of road presence. Unfortunately there's little else positive. Although the diesel engine is fairly potent, it's not very economical or refined - and likewise in most other areas the Nitro feels crude. It's meant to be an alternative to cars like the Hyundai Santa Fe and Kia Sorento - but they both feel sophisticated by comparison. An uncomposed ride and cheap-feeling interior complete the unappealing package while the vague steering and excessive body roll in corners mean it doesn't drive well either. Mungler
Dreadful car. Mate has had one from new and has been nothing but trouble. Pimped up bling looking piece of junk with no build quality. People only look at thm because they are cheap, and they (like all Chryslers) are cheap because they are rubbish
