Someone to show me the ropes

Hi guys,

 

I'm 49 year old BASC insured shooter from Surrey and I would love to tag along with someone just to see what is involved. I have no problem shooting animals in my garden, but as far as shooting on someone else's land, I have no idea the "do's and dont's" - etiquette if you like.

 

I have a SGC and a couple of shotguns, also a Weihrauch HW80 air rifle.

 

I have applied for my F.A.C for target shooting, and once I have this sorted out and my own permission, I hope to get it varied for vermin.

 

Any offer within reasonable distance gratefully accepted. Pigeon, corvids, squizzers, rabbits etc. I am interested in all aspects of shooting and would also love to tag along on a fox shoot (as a spectator at the moment, obviously.)

 

I promise solemnly not to try to "nick your permission", nor contact the landowner. Once I have my own permissions I will repay the favour.

 

I'm fairly flexible timewise in my work, so day/night/weekends all possible at the moment.

 

I'm not after a free anything and I like to think I'm quite sensible.
