DooMRoTT
Hello , First day with my new hobby , loved it Was hoping to see if any one with a miroku Teague mk38 has fitted a thicker recoil pad?. Would like one that screws straight on and fits right .. I felt I was hitting my cheek a bit ,So would like a thicker pad I thought you could pick your model of gun and get a nice factory fit with out sanding .. Think I'm hooked 3 rounds 150 shots down only popped out for first try lol Thank for any help
Gordon R
It might help if you could say what thickness your existing pad is. I have, in the past, bought a genuine Miroku recoil pad which fitted an MK38. However, it was not a perfect fit. It needed a little grinding / sanding. It's a cheap enough job to get a thicker one done professionally.

Dibs
It may be worth considering a recoil reducing pad like kickeezee if your replacing. They come in various thicknesses. Not sure where you are but someone like Jim Spalding in Essex fits them for about £75. Money well spent as really good durable pads which do ease a bit of recoil. Saying that if it's your first day out shooting there is a good chance it's gun mount so I'd stick with what you have for a while and see if it settles down.
